A dozen years ago, when I bought my first .22LR revolver I was dismayed at the cost. My S&W 617 cost more than center fire revolvers of the same type. In order to save money on ammo, I had to spend more than double on the gun. Mye 617 is exceptionally accurate and well worth the price paid, but I note another option at half the price.

Settling in at the guest room.
"Shoot - move - communicate" is a good plan. Like most of my models, Evie can shoot (her PF9 in a Galco UDC is close to hand) and she can communicate (in fact, does so quite compulsively). It's the "move" part she's trying to avoid. Warm, comfortable and contented -- why should she move? And no, her mini laptop doesn't have a built-in web cam. And yes, she can hide the pistol on her skinny frame so that it's completely invisible.

The Pink Lady model probably shoots as straight as the standard gray version but can be concealed easier among other Valentines Day fluff. If flashed by accident from concealment, it has a chance of passing for a cell phone or some other harmless item.

Наше общество просто помешанно на глушителях. Они стоят на каждой машине и на каждом мотоцикле. Наверное, чтобы подкрадываться к пешеходам и давить без риска быть замеченными. И на грузовиках стоят, и на лодочных моторах. Даже на газонокосилке и то стоит глушитель. Тут-то зачем, вроде трава и так не убежит! Как подумаю сколько вокруг меня глушаков каждый день, страшно становится жить. Но живём как-то.
Спросил одного с мотоциклом, зачем тебе, мил человек, глушак? А он мне лапшу на уши вешает, что мол закон требует да и уши не казённые. Врёт думаю, не может глушитель быть для мирных целей!

А ведь и хуже бывает. В некоторых очень ужасных и кроваво-преступных странах, их можно на винтовки накручивать. Пришёл в магазин, купил глушак долларов так за сорок и на тропу войны с незаложенными ушами! Хотя вроде в новостях про ту страну ничего не слышно. Думаю все там друг друга давно уже перестреляли втихаря. А для чего ещё могли бы понадобиться глушители в Новой Зеландии?

I need to find either a TGS-104 or a functional equivalent. So far, I have not located any current sources. I also have not found the specs on it, which makes figuring out equivalent cables difficult. Does anyone have a lead for me?

Had a good time with Madmike, Wing, Montieth and other friends. I mostly just relaxed and kicked back. Most of the panel discussions didn’t interest me much, but small group and one on one conversations after hours were fun. Met many old friends and quite a few new people. Photos will be posted as I have them edited.
